United Kingdom Pavilion |
The United Kingdom Pavilion is our next stop on our trip around the countries of the World Showcase. The UK is a nice pavilion to enjoy a leisurely stroll through, although there isn’t a whole lot to this pavilion. However, that isn’t always a bad thing. The United Kingdom is home to the Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room, which I have heard is one of the best of the World Showcase restaurants. I’ve never eaten there, though, so please comment and let me know what you think of the restaurant!
However, one thing we have done in the UK is to take in one of the street shows that they put on in front of the Rose & Crown. We saw some of the Guests being selected out of the audience to play parts in the play, it was cool because they went with it, and got in the Thespian spirit! Here are some photos from the play we saw that day.
Overall, we don’t have a whole lot to do with the United Kingdom. However, for that leisurely stroll through the World Showcase, a stop in the UK is a fine idea; people watching is always fun to do at Walt Disney World, and doing so in the UK is quite easy to do. And who knows, you might just end up being part of the show!
Our last stop on our journey around the World Showcase will take us to the pavilion of Canada, one of my favorite pavilions! Look for that over the weekend!
Mickey is a lover of Disney who has been to Walt Disney World many times in his 42 (soon to be 43) years. When he isn’t writing about WDW on his blog or over at Chip & Company, he can be found surfing the Internet looking for great deals for himself, his family, or his friends. Starting on February 18th, Mike will also be one of the writers for the Magical Blogorail Red! You can check out the Blue and the Green loops also over at MagicalBlogorail.com.
