Welcome to another edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog hop, hosted by my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic!  Today’s theme is transportation, and I have a couple of photos I wanted to share with you.  The top photo is the Grand Marshall car from last year’s Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade.  The next photo is of the cool car that you can find at the Beach Club Resort (I spent half an hour trying to confirm that it is the Beach Club, and not the Yacht Club, where you can find the car, so if I’m wrong, please correct me.)

The last photo I want to share with you is of a parade I haven’t seen in a few years.  I like it because it is the Family Fun Day Parade, and it features my wife’s favorite character — Daisy Duck!  Better yet, she is riding on a classic fire truck.  From what I can make out, it looks like the fire truck has “Main Street Fire Dept.” and “Engine No. 51” on the engine cover.  I also think it is a 1915 fire truck because of the license plate.  But beyond that, I can’t find much about it, nor can I confirm the writing.  Have any of you seen this fire truck before, and can you fill in some details for me?  This is a mystery that it would be really cool to learn more about!

Thank you for joining me on this week’s edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  Thanks Deb for hosting this each week, and for having such a great theme!  Take some time if you can to look at the rest of the entries this week — to do so, just click on the button below!  Thanks for reading!

  1. Great photos! I will definitely have to look for that car next time I head to the Beach Club.

  2. Great pics! And yes…I do believe that car is at the Beach Club! :-) We've stayed there, but not Yacht…and it seems like I saw it regularly walking from the bus stop!

  3. Great shots! I haven't seen the Family Fun parade in a long time either. Very cool classic cars. Love the fire truck picture!! Your wife has great taste in characters, Daisy is my favorite too.
Thanks for sharing and for joining in on the Disney Wordless Wednesday blog hop fun!!

  4. Thanks everyone! Of course, I haven't ridden in any of these — maybe I need to make these into a bucket list item! :)

  5. Love the fire truck. I'm trying to imagine racing to a fire in that…What are you going to do when you get there? The ladder looks like it's barely tall enough to reach a second story! Great pictures.
