Wordless Wednesday — Dreams Do Come True!

Image Courtesy Shane and Stephanie — I love you two!

Coming into our Disney World vacation, I had a secret that I needed to keep — one that was life-altering for two very special people in my life.  My future Nephew-in-Law, Shane, told me that he was planning on proposing to my niece Stephanie while we were at Disney World.  On Sunday evening — actually, Monday morning — at 1AM, near the end of Extra Magic Hours, Shane asked that question that many Princesses dream they will get asked, when he said “Stephanie, will you marry me?”  Amongst tears, laughter, hugs, applause, and so much more, Stephanie said yes!

This very special post would not have happened tonight without the explicit permission of Stephanie and Shane, so I guess you could say that this post is a Steph and Shane exclusive! :)

This post is part of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by my good friend Deb from Focused on the Magic.  Why not check out the rest of the wonderful posts by clicking on the button below!  Thanks for stopping by!

About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. […] In many ways, it was this trip — the time we took Stephanie with us to Disney World — that started this little blog on it’s journey.  The happiness that those cousins shared that week, and Cindy and I did also, was just the start; after that trip, Stephanie would come with us in 2011 twice, and then her happiness meter went through the roof in June, 2012, when Shane proposed to her in front of Cinderella Castle!
