Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Wordless Wednesday post! I would like to thank my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this great series, I’ve been absent the past two weeks as things caught up with me, but today, I’m back and ready to enjoy this week’s series of posts! The theme this week is Parades! There are some great Disney parades out there, and I thought I would start with one that we saw way back on June 18, 2008 — nearly six years ago! What I really like about the Main Street Family Fun Day Parade is that you get a great shot of the Fire Engine, and even better shots of Daisy Duck, that sassy duck that you don’t see that often in the parks! Here’s another shot of her that I think you’ll enjoy as well!
Of course, in my opinion, nothing compares to this parade — the Main Street Electrical Parade! I know that some of you love it, and some of you don’t, but for me, it is my favorite!
I’m having a memory cramp and can’t remember what the name of this parade is, so if you know, please let me know in the comments. What I do know, though, is that it had some great floats and characters to take pictures of!
For me, I think my favorite character is Minnie Mouse — and this picture of her was taken from the parade that we going by the Liberty Tree Tavern right after we finished lunch there. It was Disney Magic at it’s finest, and I was fortunate to be able to get the picture!
In a seldom seen character shot, Jiminy Cricket was holding balloons as he marched along Main Street, U.S.A., as part of the procession of champions for the 40th Anniversary of the opening of Walt Disney World! It was great fun to see him and the other characters!
Last, but certainly not least by any stretch, I’m sharing a picture with you from the Pixar Pals Parade over at Disney’s California Adventure Park. I can’t believe it’s already been seven months since we were at Disneyland! The time has flown by way too fast, but at least we are fast approaching our next trip in June!

Wow, I never knew of the Family Fun day parade. It looks fun! Is that one parade the Celebrate a Dream come True parade or am I thinking of something else? Anyway, great pics and descriptions!
I believe the parade you need the name of is the Move It Shake It Celebrate It Parade (I think …).

Oh my, I love that sassy Daisy Duck picture!! It’s always a treat to see a Disney parade but the Family Fun Day Parade is special with all the neat firetrucks and cars on display.
