Hello my friends! Thank you for continuing to join us as we explore our favorite Disney Memories! We have had one incredible Disney Memory after another in our exploration, and now, we are looking ahead to our next trip this June. I have some good ideas on what our next round of Disney Memories will revolve around. Let’s take a look at what I think will happen, and after our trip, we’ll see how close I was…

For starters, our next Disney vacation is going to join old and new, best friends from both coasts…on the one hand, Sophie will be going to Walt Disney World with her oldest friend, the friend that she’s had since the day she was born — her BFF Riley. It’s an incredible thing, but these two fit together as friends like a glove to a hand. They always have fun when they see one another, and they’ll be friends all their life, of that I have absolutely no doubt. Our first trip to Disney as a family was in 2005 when Riley and her family invited us to join them and stay with them at their timeshare, and Riley and Sophie had so much fun at the Disney that in 2008 Riley was able to join us to celebrate Sophie’s birthday at the Magic Kingdom. Here’s just a couple of pictures from that trip…

So, with these two, nothing but the best of times.
But that’s not all! We’ve also got new friends to add to our group! Last year, when we went to Disneyland, we met a blogging friend of mine, Sheila from Cooking Underwriter, and her husband Randy and their daughter Miss J. We hit it off right then and there, the girls had the best time, they are kindred spirits, and we have been seeing them via FaceTime or Skype ever since! So when Cindy and I were planning our trip, it became perfectly natural to see if it was at all possible for them to join us. Fortunately, it was, and we have been in planning mode ever since Christmas!

The great thing about this is that our close friends are joining us to celebrate Sophie’s birthday in June…our little girl will officially be a teenager, this little girl who was born seven weeks early and was only 4 pounds, 2 ounces at birth is now a young lady. For Cindy and I, it means the world to us that our closest friends are able to join us to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. We have a lot of great activities planned, everything from a Wishes Dessert Party to dinners all over the World, to a trip to that other park to see some Wizard (Cindy and I are going to hang at WDW), and even more!
Until then, though, please answer this for me: “When is your next trip to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or any of the other Disney Parks, and what special memory are you hoping to unlock when you get there?”
Thank you for stopping by, now go out and make it a great Disney Day!
