Who wants to win a $150 Disney Gift Card?

As I mentioned on December 1st, December is the month for contests here at My Dreams of Disney!  We had our $50 Disney Gift Card contest that our friends at Mousekejournals hosted, then we participated in our incredible $400 Disney Gift Card contest from our friends at Chip & Company, and now, we’ve got another great Gift Card contest for you!

Starting Monday, December 10th, 2012 at Midnight, and continuing until Tuesday night, December 18th, 2012 at 11:59PM, we have teamed up with a great group of blogs to offer up a $150 Disney Gift Card and a customized tote bag for one lucky winner!

Who wants to win a $150 Disney Gift Card?

There are so many possibilities available to you should you be the lucky winner of the Gift Card and Customized Tote Bag!  Here is an example picture of what the tote bag will look like:

If you win, you will get your own “The Woodard Family” Tote Bag!  Just kidding!  You can actually have it customized with your name!

From our contests, it appears that the top two ways to spend your gift card is to either save it and use it for your next Disney vacation, or to spend it on Christmas presents.  Certainly neither  option is a bad one!  However, there are two other thoughts you could consider — especially considering the season that we are in.

First of all, $150 would be almost all that you need to purchase a two day ticket for yourself — or nearly all you need to purchase a 1 day ticket for yourself and a child between age three and nine.  In the latter case, you would only have to spend an extra $22 for your park tickets!  Of course, this doesn’t take into consideration hotel cost, food, and so forth, but for some people, it might be just the thing they need!

The other option you can consider is giving the gift card to your favorite charity, such as Give Kids the World.  There are a number of charities out there that send kids stricken with cancer and other illnesses (and their families) to Walt Disney World to help them get away from the stresses of their illness.

The choice is yours — and let me stress to you that none of these choices is a bad choice.  The world has more then it’s share of problems — and the chances are great that you and your family have been impacted in some way because of the economy or some other life event.

The biggest thing you can do, though, is to enter to win the gift card and customized tote bag!  If you don’t enter, you can’t win!

    If I win this I would use it to buy Disney Christmas presents for my little prince and princess! It would be a blessing to win bc I don’t have a lot of money to buy them things they want or what I want them to have, so this would be a blessing and a great gift to them bc they both LOVE Disney!     My son was already making plans to make at least three droids in the gift shop after Star Tours when we go in June. I think I’d give him the gift card and he could make droids and shop to his heart’s content.

    We are going in Feb, and I’d use it toward our trip. After a year and a half (and counting) of Lyme Disease treatments, it would be an awesome help! Although, you really tugged at my heart strings about giving it to the kids charity. That’s another possibility.

    I’d buy my 2 year old daughter the Cinderella slipper, when she first saw it she fell in love with it, I got the ” oh please mommy, please can I be Cinderella with the glass slipper!” of course it was $200 so I had to say no, but I keep entering in all these contest to try and win her the money lol.     We are giving our kids a trip to Disney World for Christmas. My daughter has been wanting to go for years. We saved up enough money and we’re going in May. I would use the gift certificate to pay for part of the trip and let my daughter buy things she would want while we are there.
