About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you, Beth. If it serves to help someone that is feeling the impact of all of these tragedies more then I am, then my purpose is accomplished.

You testimony s inspiring. Disney is a magical place. My husband and grown sons have MD. They need magical places to enjoy but money is tight. We are planning a trip in December. We trust the
Lord and He takes care of us.

Beautifully said, Mike! And I couldn’t agree with you more! My younger two kids were really upset when they saw the Boston bombings, and they had trouble getting to sleep that night. But they both know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, and it gave us an opportunity to see that although bad things did happen, so much more did not, and that God IS always in control, and that everything happens according to His purpose. Nothing is ever happenstance! Thanks for being so bold in your faith! I am so honored to call you friend!

Thank you for posting this, Mike. I have many examples in my own life that I absolutely know without the shadow of a doubt that God was ever-present and right by my side. He has always had a plan for me and that is why I have been saved from danger and even death, and why particular things have happened at the exact perfect time to secure my knowing that He is right beside me.
Thank you for your post, my special Brother in Christ. Love you!

Such a beautiful testimony and family! It is such a peace and comfort to my family and I to know that no matter how scary and unpredictable everything else is, God is there with us and He will never leave us. Every day in my life I can see evidence of God’s presence and plan. My husband and I got married very young (18 and 19) and we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this summer! It hasn’t always been the easiest road at times but we love each other even more now than we did then. Two beautiful children later we thank God every day for having our hands in His. Thank you for sharing!

Congratulations on the upcoming anniversary, Heather! My wife and I got married later in life, but we’ll be celebrating our 13th anniversary this year!

Thank you so much for posting this. Times like these can really test our faith. But I choose to put my faith in my Lord and Savior. I can’t image how those who don’t believe make it through times like these. We are praying for those in Boston and in Texas as well.
