About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. Tower of Terror is my 6 year old daughter’s favorite ride, she loves the look of the “hotel” and notices all the tiny details. It was her #1 Fastpass pick this past April and we were set to do it our first day. However on our flight down to FL from CT she spiked a high fever and threw up on the Magic Express. Needless to say we didn’t make it onto the Tower that day but woke up early on the third day to get to the front of the line at Hollywood to fit in Tower of Terror before our Fastpass times at Epcot. The look of joy on my little one’s face was worth the extra hassle of fitting it in. On our last night my daughter was crying on the shuttle back to the hotel, when I asked her why she was crying she said she was said she couldn’t ride Tower of Terror until next year. A stop at the hotel gift shop and a Tower of Terror Trading Pin made my little one happy once more. Until next April Tower of Terror!!

Bless her heart, Denise! There is nothing worse than getting sick at Disney, I’m glad that she was better and able to ride her favorite ride! Thanks for sharing your great story with us!

DHS is the least favorite of the parks for me at WDW because of its lack of attractions overall. But I agree with your list. It should be a better park once the new expansions are done!
