By Mike Ellis.
Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by My Dreams of Disney today! In this post, we are continuing our series on my top five attractions — last week we looked at my top five Epcot attractions, and the week before that we looked at my top five Magic Kingdom attractions. Today we are taking a look at my top five Disney’s Hollywood Studios attractions!
#5: The Magic of Disney Animation

We were first exposed to The Magic of Disney Animation when we were at Disney’s California Adventure and took in the Disney Animation building, which has a ton of different things to check out! We were there with our friends at Cooking Underwriter and her daughter Miss J and Sophie hit it off like they were long lost sisters reunited! As a result, we decided to look in on The Magic of Disney Animation back on the east coast! Our favorite activity is to learn how to draw the characters just like the animators do.
#4: Muppet*Vision 3D

I know that Muppet*Vision 3D is dated. I know that it is the same as it was since it opened. I know that it’s corny. Despite all of that — or, perhaps, because of all that — I like Muppet*Vision 3D. This show is one that I try to watch once per visit. In some ways, I think the fact that it is still the original version, just like the Muppet Show seasons that I used to watch as a kid, is a tribute to all the influence that Jim Henson had, and what was lost when he died. It’s almost as if, with him gone, the show must still go on, but it can’t be updated anymore…
#3: One Man’s Dream

One Man’s Dream is a great attraction, one of my favorites. Whenever I enter the museum-like attraction, my mind immediately gets transported back in time to when Walt Disney was around, and was growing up and becoming the man that would create this world that I love to visit. Then, at the end of the pathways, I love to watch the home movie and see that, even as a grown up running the famed Disney company, Walt still knew how to have fun and remember what it was like to be a kid.
#2: Toy Story Midway Mania

Toy Story Mania is not at the top of the list because of one reason: the lines, and the way the FastPass tickets run out so fast. Perhaps FastPass+ will improve this, we’ll see. In the meantime, though, the ride itself is so much fun, I love playing all the old carnival games, and I love how it is all computerized! All in all, it’s a great ride, and worth doing every time you are at Hollywood Studios!
#1: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith!

Coming in at number one, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith! This attraction has just one drawback — it’s not long enough in time. What it lacks in ride time, though, it makes up for in adrenalin rush! It’s a great ride, and I love riding it over and over again!
Honorable Mentions…

Tower of Terror: Love the structure, love the back story, love the affects, love the part of the ride that takes you to the elevators, hate the drops!

Great Movie Ride: Love the scenes from the old movies, love most of the sets, don’t like the gunshots. I wish it was updated and featured more Disney movies along the ride.
Thank you for stopping by and looking at my top five attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! What are your top five? Please let me know in the comments, and thanks!
I love the Toy Story Mania ride.
