Did You Know?
That The Garden Grill, a revolving restaurant in The Land Pavilion, rotates faster at breakfast than at dinner because Disney wants diners to experience an entire revolution during their meal and people spend less time eating breakfast.
And now, the Answer!
b.) The Good Turn! Like many of the eateries in The Land Pavilion, the original table-service restaurant has been renamed a number of times since the pavilion’s opening. It opened as The Good Turn on October 1, 1982, and then became the Land Grille Room in 1986. Today it is known as The Garden Grill and offers Character Dining. Whatever its name, the restaurant has (literally) revolved around the boat ride below since its opening.

Ok I had no idea about the restaurant turning faster at breakfast than at dinner. I didn’t think I could learn anything new about WDW but I did.
I knew about the rotation speed, but had no idea about the name — in fact, I can’t imagine it as any name other then the Garden Grill Restaurant! :)
I had no idea! I do, however, have a great picture of the really-hard-to-find hidden Mickey in the mural! ;) Thanks for hosting & for this great information!

Maybe the speed was too much, I believe that the Garden Grill only serves Dinner now. We never got to experience the spin at breakfast to compare :). I was aware of the name change, but not the speed change. Thanks for sharing!!
I hadn’t realized that, Sean! I’m surprised that they don’t at least do lunch and dinner, but just dinner? I hope that isn’t a sign of trouble with the restaurant! That is one of our favorite restaurants! Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks, Kimberly — did you see Sean’s comment, it’s only open for dinner now! I think I knew it wasn’t open for breakfast, but I didn’t realize it wasn’t open for lunch!
I just saw it. I would have loved to have eaten there for breakfast. I’ve only been for dinner. I didn’t realize it’s not open for lunch anymore either.
