Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia! Today we are looking at Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland! Joining me are Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Jenn from Disney Babies Blog, and Heidi from Heidi’s Head!

Did You Know…

That today in 1957, Shirley Temple takes part in the dedication of the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through at Disneyland. In attendance is Walt Disney and Temple’s oldest daughter Linda, son Charles, and youngest daughter Lori. (Back in 1939 child star Shirley Temple had presented Walt with an honorary Academy Award – one big Oscar & seven little ones – for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.)

My mom loved watching Shirley Temple movies as a kid, and I did too! Thanks for stopping by, please go check out the rest of the posts!

  1. I love seeing the pictures of Shirley giving that award to Walt. That is so neat. Cool piece of trivia this week, Mike. Thanks!
