Hello everyone, and welcome back to another edition of Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia! Along with my co-hosts Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Jenn from Disney Babies Blog, and Heidi from Heidi’s Head, I’m Mike from My Dreams of Disney, here to share with you some great Disney trivia!
This week’s trivia comes to us from the Walt Disney World Trivia Book, Volume II, written by Lou Mongello! I hope you enjoy!
For all of you Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride fans out there, I have this simple trivia question:
Where were you headed on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride?
a) Nowhere in Particular
b) London
c) Sleepy Hollow
d) Paris
While you ponder that question, did you know that a group of us are gearing up to have a great Disney contest? The contest will have three winners, the main prize winner is a Dooney & Bourke Disney Cruise Line purse, the second prize is a $75 Disney Gift Card, and the third prize is a $50 Disney Gift Card! To read more about it and enter on Saturday, click here to read the post and see our Rafflecopter entry form! Here is what the purse looks like.
Have I given you all enough time to tell the answer? I’m sure I have, I wouldn’t have known the answer because I don’t remember Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride all that well, but I know most of you know the answer! Drumroll, please!
The answer is : A) Nowhere in Particular.
Guests could hop into one of J. Thaddeus Toad’s motorcars and speed off to “Nowhere in Particular,” in the wild ride based on the novel, Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame. “Nowhere in Particular” (aka “The Merrily Song”) was also the name of the theme song that played throughout the attraction!
As always, special thanks to Lou Mongello and his terrific Walt Disney World Trivia Book! Do you own this book? If not, why not click the link above and purchase it in paperback or for your Kindle? Now, head on over and read the rest of the trivia by clicking the links below! Thanks for stopping by!
I did know that one, because I just wrote about Disneyland’s Mr. Toad last week! I never road it at WDW, though. Guess I’ll have to venture out west one of these days :) Thanks for co-hosting!
I vaguely remember riding it on our first trip – but I only guessed at the answer and got it right. The other answers just didn’t seem quite right. Love Lou’s books!
One of my favorite rides!! It was a real park treasure:)
