This week I’ve got several “Fact for the Day” items from you from one of my favorite sites, This Day in Disney History.
Fact for the Day…
Since this week seems to have so many great facts for the day, I’ve actually got a couple for you to enjoy!
Disney World built the Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion so that Cinderella Castle is perfectly framed in two views: through the window behind the altar where the couple is married, and through a hedge archway outside the chapel.
In addition to the Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion, I’ve also got one that directly relates to the most common form of Disney Transportation: buses!
About 300 Walt Disney World buses transport guests around the Florida resort, making the Walt Disney World fleet the third largest in Florida behind Miami and Jacksonville!
I hope that you found these two trivia tidbits to your liking! Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to write your posts and share them with ours! Make it a Disney Day everyone!

Awesome trivia tidbits this week, Mike! I love the wedding pavilion. We just love walking on the beach from the GF over to Poly and passing the pavilion – it’s so dreamy there! I love that they thought about placement and views – no surprise there!
How like Disney World to frame up the wedding pavilion just so! They’re so good about considering those things!
My daughter insists she’s getting married at WDW! Maybe someday her dreams will come true :)
I’ve never been to WDW. I would love to see it in person. Disney is so creative and always thinking ahead. It would be just like them to frame it just right so pictures are perfect.
i actually would think that the disney world fleet would be the biggest. neat facts!
I love this page – especially the prayer requests. That is an interesting fact about the wedding pavilion. Maybe my little girl will get married there someday:)
love this!
How fun! Just found your blog while looking for Disney trip planning tips. I would love to read your trivia facts at Sunday dinner to the kids all the way up to our trip!
