After a week off for our trip to Walt Disney World, we’re back at it, so for this week’s Week that Was, we’ll be including our posts from this week as well as the posts from the previous week.

  • In the previous week, we completed our series counting down to our trip to Walt Disney World:
    • For Day 4, we looked at the Grand Marshall Car we saw during our June trip.
    • On Day 3 we looked fondly at everyone’s friend, Sonny Eclipse!
    • With only two days left, I shared a picture of one of my favorite attractions — the Carousel of Progress!
    • Finally, only one day left!  On that day, I shared the reason why any of this exists — Walt Disney.
  • We also continued our Blog Shout-Out list, if you haven’t seen any of these sites, go ahead and check them out:
    • Have you seen the blog of The Disney Chick?  Check her out if you missed it the first time!
    • One of the best books you can read if you are taking your preschool children to Disney is Beyond the Attractions.  Check out Lisa’s site today if you have little ones!
    • Mommy Mouseketeer is the site of one of my friends on the Magical Blogorail.  Check it out if you haven’t before.
    • We also looked into the site of my friend Melissa from the writer’s group on Chip and Company.
    • Moving on into this week, we looked at CanaDisney, the blog of my friend Bryan and Crystal of the Magical Blogorail Blue line!
    • We also looked at the site of my friend Heather.  She is the creator of the site Walt Disney World: It’s Not Just for Kids!
    • Next on our list was my friend Debra’s sites.  She is one of the writers for The Examiner, and is also the creator of the Facebook Fan Page Kungaloosh!
    • If you are into collectibles, you will love my friend Lee’s site, Disleelandia!  He has one of the most extensive collections of Disney memorabilia of anyone I know!
    • My friend Sarah is a member of the Magical Blogorail, and is the creator of the site “Magical Days with the Mouse.” Check it out if you missed it the first time, it’s a great site!
    • Lastly for this week, we looked at my friend Kristin’s site, “Tips from the Disney Diva.”  Kristin is one of the great writers that Chip has gathered to write on Chip and Company!
  • In a special Magical Blogorail edition, we turned the reigns over to our kids to describe their favorite attractions!
  • Last Wednesday I participated in the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop over at Focused on the Magic with my picture of Sophie’s 40th Anniversary special button!
  • Lastly, I also recorded some video while we were at Walt Disney World, and in one post, I shared my video from the morning celebration on October 1st!
  • Over at Chip and Company I had a few posts to talk about:
    • On September 26th I wrote the Week in Review.
    • I also wrote a guide to the Food and Wine Festival.
    • Lastly,  I wrote a Disney Food Confession for the Cheddar Cheese Soup over in Canada!

That wraps is up for the past two weeks!  I hope I haven’t bored you too much!  Next week, look for more blog shout-outs, some more posts about our trip to Disney World, and more!  Thanks for reading! registered & protected
