Welcome to what was an extremely busy week — this is the Week That Was for September 18th, 2011! Without any further delay, here is what we looked at for the past week:
- We continued our Picture a Day series this week:
- On Day 18, we looked at a picture my wife took from Characters In Flight.
- Day 17 was my Mom’s Birthday! To honor her, that day I shared a picture of her and Sophie taken way back in 2006 at Minnie’s Country House.
- For Day 16 I shared my picture of Sophie and Donald Duck — an oldie but a goody!
- Day 15 was my entry in the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, I shared a picture of Cinderella’s Carriage from the Main Street Electrical Parade.
- On Day 14 I shared one of my favorite sequences on digital film — a scene from the Studio Backlot Tour.
- On Day 13 I shared a picture of Sophie from Animal Kingdom when she had her face painted.
- And on Day 12 I remembered the day we were able to get a picture of Sophie with Sorcerer Mickey.
- In addition to our Picture a Day series, I also started a new series called “Blogs to Check Out.” This special series is my way of saying “Thank You” to all of my Disney blogger friends for all that they do for me.
- On Monday I gave shout-outs to my friend Chip and his blog, Chip and Company, and to my friend Beth, owner of Pursuing the Magic, and founder of The Magical Blogorail!
- On Tuesday my shout-outs went to my friends Debs, owner of Focused on the Magic, and Natalie, owner of Meet The Magic!
- For Wednesday I brought mention to my friends Amy (from Growing Up Disney) and Jenn (owner of The Disney Babies Blog).
- On Thursday my series continued by highlighting Kristen (Cooking with Mickey) and Heidi (Heidi’s Ramblings, Reflections, and Reviews).
- For Friday I talked about my friends Jodi (Magical Mouse Schoolhouse) and Chad (Days in the Park).
- And on Saturday my shout-outs went to my friends Amanda (The Disney Go To Girl) and Melissa (Disney On Wheels)!
- On Friday the Magical Blogorail Red line had it’s next loop. For this month, we were focusing on the Hidden Secrets of Epcot, and I shared some of my favorite secrets, including a special visit with Princess Jasmine and the Genie!
- On Monday the Disney Parks Blog had a post about how they transform for the fall — it was such a cool video in their post that I shared it on my blog.
- Last Sunday, Sophie wrote a special review of her own — Her Favorite Disney Channel Presentations!
- Over on Chip and Company I was also really busy. Here are the posts that were published over there last week:
- On Monday the 12th I shared the Chip and Company Week in Review.
- On Wednesday the 14th I wrote about all of the Tables In Wonderland Dining Locations! It is a big list, so check it out!
- On Thursday the 15th I wrote a special post for Chip — those Last Minute Tips before you leave for Walt Disney World!
