Image via WikipediaToday’s post is a simple one, mainly because I didn’t experience this attraction! Last June, my wife, daughter and niece rode the Characters in Flight ride over at Downtown Disney. For whatever reason, all of a sudden I chickened out, so I didn’t do it. I think this is something that I will correct our next trip down! Anyway, here are some of the pictures my wife took! I have heard mixed reviews about Characters in Flight. Some talked about how short the ride was (particularly with windy conditions), some talked about how much fun they had. My family loved it, so I think we will ride it again (this time, with me also!)
I want to experience this so badly! We had all intentions of going on it last trip, but it was so windy each of the days we were in DtD that it was closed. It is on my must do list for October!
The last two trips I wanted to do this and both times it was too windy for the balloon to go up . . . next time!
One thing you can do is time it at night so that you get to see the fireworks in the parks! That would be so cool! Good luck riding it next time! I plan on doing it in June and will not chicken out this time!
I talked about going last June, but didn't want to drag my husband (hates heights), so skipped.. and decided to do it alone in January, and it was down both times!! Sad. Hopefully next trip. You too, Mike!
