Hello everyone! The Jungle Book is being done up in a non-animated version to debut on April 15th of next year. It features a star-studded cast, including Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, and Christopher Walken, among others! In looking at the trailer below, it appears that the movie may be a little darker than the original 1967 animated version — and it intrigues me to no end. This is the latest in a series of re-makes of classic Disney movies, so I’m excited to see what it will entail. The official US trailer is embedded below, so please have a look at it when you get a moment. It’s not too long, so how about right now?
I’m curious to hear what you think — do you think this will be as good a movie as some of the others, such as Cinderella, Maleficent, and so forth, or do you think Disney has gone too far and made too many of these remakes? Also, which of the Disney remakes has been your favorite so far? Let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping by!
