With March comes warmer temperatures, flowers, and gardens.
Hello everyone, and welcome to our Wordless Wednesday blog post. Special thanks, as always, goes out to my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this weekly series. Today we are taking a look at our March Calendar photos, and I could choose just one, so I’ve got several for you to enjoy!
When I think of March, I think of flowers blooming, gardens getting vibrant colors, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and even some music in the rain! I hope you enjoy each of these photos, they weren’t taken during the month of March because I’ve never been to Disney in March, but I think they would fit for the month. Enjoy!
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is a great display of all the creative work that the Imagineers can do!
I love how the sun is shining off the buildings over in China!
Want to take a row in the World Showcase Lagoon?
Year round, the Canada Pavilion is one of my favorites, and the gardens are just incredible!
Last, but certainly not least, Off Kilter plays during a brief rainshower.
Thank you for stopping by today! Don’t forget to go check out the rest of the entries — to do so, just click on the button below, and thanks! Now, go out and make today and every day a Disney Day!
Happy Birthday Epcot! Just like the Magic Kingdom, Epcot opened on October 1st! Of course, there was 11 years between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, so last year was the 30th Birthday of Epcot, and that makes this year birthday number 31! Epcot has so many incredible details that it’s really like going to two theme parks rolled into one! For starters there is Epcot Future World, which features Spaceship Earth, among other great pavilions. Then there is Epcot World Showcase, which features 11 pavilions dedicated to different countries around the world. If you haven’t seen my reviews of them, head over to my “Epcot’s World Showcase” page to read about each of them!
For this special birthday post, I thought I would let my pictures do the talking, and share with you some of the incredible things that await you at Epcot! Sit back, relax, and enjoy your photographic journey through Epcot — the second park at Walt Disney World!
Epcot has a monorail stop that rides through part of Future World! Look at the Tron Monorail from 2010!
Epcot is known for it’s special events — and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is at the top of the list!
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is another special event worth seeing! This is Lightning McQueen from 2010!
The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is another special event worth seeing! Lightning McQueen wouldn’t be complete without Mater!
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is another incredible show that is a must see at Epcot!
The Voices of Liberty perform inside the American Adventure Pavilion prior to the show!
Street Performers — like this one in the United Kingdom Pavilion — are a lot of fun to watch!
Of course, character greetings are part of every Disney park! Here Sophie is joined with her buddy Donald Duck!
I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at some of the things that you can expect to enjoy at Epcot when you visit! Happy Birthday Epcot! Are you going to be there to celebrate? If so, tell us what your favorite part of Epcot is, and thanks for stopping by!
One of the best pavilions in Epcot’s World Showcase, the Canada Pavilion’s landscaping is incredible!
Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop! As always, a special and sincere thanks goes out to my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this incredible series each week. The theme this week is Flowers and Gardens, in honor, of course, of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival which started on March 6th. While I haven’t been to the Festival, I’ve got several photos of flowers that I’d like to share with you, so I hope you enjoy them!
I love the imagery here — flowers in the foreground, the Universe of Energy pavilion in the back, and the Tron monorail coming through the shot!
More from the Canada Pavilion
A flower from the Japan Pavilion, if memory serves me correctly.
A pretty flower from the Animal Kingdom
A flower that Cindy took the picture of, over near Kali River Rapids.
This rose, symbolic of the rose in the movie Beauty and the Beast, was seen by Cindy and I during our trip to Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom Villas.
That wraps up my Wordless Wednesday entry for today! I hope you have enjoyed my flowers, no go check out the rest of the entries! Just click on the button below, and thanks!
