The Mad T Party is a nighttime party that explores Alice in Wonderland through Tim Burton’s eyes. Personally, I don’t think this is something that I will ever look at — it just doesn’t seem to be my thing, you know, but for those that have been to it, why don’t you comment and let me know what you think of it? Thanks!
Wow everyone! I can’t believe that I’ve already gone through 60 days of attractions, shows, and dining locations for our Countdown to Disneyland series! Thanks for hanging with me each day, and thank you also for all of the great tips that you’ve left me! I’m taking note of all of those comments because each one gives me perspective about the Parks that I don’t have because I’ve never been before!
Today we are taking a look at the Dancin with Disney, which is just one part of the entertainment that you can enjoy at Disney’s California Adventure Park. Along with Dancin with Disney inside Stage 17 in Hollywood Land, you’ve also got all sorts of block parties, interactive performers, Disney and Pixar characters, and other forms of music and dance. One that catches my imagination is the Minnie’s Fly Girls Charter Airlines over at Condor Flats!
With so many opportunities to dance your way around the parks, you can even go crazy at the dessert buffet line!
Fresh off of our look at the Disney Animation Building, where I talked about all of the great activities you can experience, is Sorcerer’s Workshop, our choice for Day 48 in our Countdown to Disneyland series!
The Sorcerer’s Workshop is made up of three incredible interactive realms. These are the Magic Mirror Realm, the Beast’s Library, and Ursula’s Grotto.
In the Magic Mirror Realm, you proceed to a medieval castle and create your very own animated drawings.
In Beast’s Library, you get to discover for yourself what kind of Disney Character you are! Answer questions in an interactive book, and find out if you are more like Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck!
In Ursula’s Grotto, walk beneath the waves and enter Ursula’s Grotto, where you let her steal your voice and use it in some of the famous scenes from the movie. But beware! Flotsam and Jetsam are lurking around also!
The Sorcerer’s Workshop sounds like a lot of fun, and is something I’m going to take a look at when we are at Disneyland! But tell me, is this attraction/exhibit something you check out, or am I reading too much into it? Please let me know in the comments, and thanks for stopping by!
Hello everyone! It is only 66 Days til our Disneyland trip! The numbers are getting smaller and smaller each day! Today we are looking at Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s California Adventure Park, located in Hollywood Land!
As you can see from the sign picture, the image at the entrance to the attraction is vastly different from the one at Disney’s Hollywood Studios park! Take a look at the one at DHS for comparison:
To be honest, I think I like the look of the sign at California Adventure better. Which do you like better?
Other then that sign difference, really it doesn’t look like there is anything all that different about the pre-show and the actual show, but does that matter to me? Not one bit! It’s still The Muppets, and I love The Muppets!
Quick straw poll — what is your favorite Muppet? Tell me in the comments or on our Facebook Page, and thanks!
If there is one thing that my daughter and I both agree on, it is the wonderful taste that Sourdough bread has! At Disney’s California Adventure Park, you can take The Bakery Tour, taste some delicious bread, see how it is all made, and then, at the end, you can purchase some great treats at the Pacific Wharf Cafe to share later on!
While this certainly isn’t a thrill ride or an e-ticket attraction, the Bakery Tour is certainly something unique that you won’t really find anywhere at Walt Disney World! So indulge yourself, slow down for a bit, and enjoy the tour!
