As we continue our look at The Seas with Nemo & Friends for our Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia segment, let’s take a look at some of the facts and figures regarding the huge aquarium! Before that, though, let’s say hi to my friends Heidi from Heidi’s Head, Jenn from Disney Babies Blog, and Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse!
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
- Did you know that the aquarium inside the pavilion is 5.7 million gallons?! At the time the pavilion opened it was the largest saltwater tank in the world. That record has since been eclipsed by the Georgia Aquarium.
- Did you know that there are approximately 8,500 creatures in the aquarium?
- Did you know that Turtle Talk with Dude Crush was opened before the actual Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction?
- Also, did you know that Turtle Talk has been replicated with great success at other Disney Parks, on the Disney Dream and Fantasy cruise ships, and even at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County? This is the first instance of a Disney Attraction being placed in any non-Disney location!
The facts go on and on, but I think I’ll stop here for the night. Do you have a favorite fact that I missed? If so, please let me know in the comments section, and thanks for stopping by!
