Timestream Software, makers of the Walt Disney World Notescast Guide and the Walt Disney World Secrets Gold! apps for mobile users, have released a new app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Walt Disney World Pro takes advantage of some of the great features that were find in it’s predecessors, and adds an incredible amount of information to it. Take a look at some of the features that are included with the WDW Pro app:

- Parade and Event descriptions
The WDW Pro app is completely self contained, so it doesn’t rely on Wifi access in order to update it’s information. That is great when you are at the park and don’t have access to a network, but it is kind of confusing also when you factor in the wait times for the rides and shows. If there isn’t network access needed, how does it know the wait times? I’m not sure about that.
I did find one small bug that needs to be addressed by Timestream. Sometimes the application will shut down when you press on a button, for me it happened when I would go from reading a description to trying to get back to where I was previously. This doesn’t happen every time, though, and it was a small nuisance in what is a really nice application.
One of my favorite parts of the app is all of the incredible photography that is incorporated into the final product. The attractions, hotels, and all of the other information are supplemented with multiple photos for each application. In all, it adds up to over 600 photos contained in the app.
In addition to all of the photos, I really love the park maps section. It is all interconnected together — if you are looking at the Walt Disney World Railroad, as an example, the top right corner has a button that you can touch to take you to the map so you can see where the railroad is located.
Another cool feature with the application is the “Tips and Strategy” tab for the attractions. If you are reading about Toy Story Mania!, touch the “Tips and Strategy” tab to learn more about how to get the most out of the attraction.
In addition to all of the features I’ve talked about here, Walt Disney World Pro also includes the following features:

I have been pleased with the previous Timestream apps that they have released for Walt Disney World, and the Walt Disney World Pro doesn’t disappoint. I would recommend it to anyone interested in Walt Disney World and planning their trip. The cost of the app is $4.99, and you can get the app at the iTunes Store.
