Ranking the New Attractions!
Over the past few days, we have been bringing to you details on the new attractions at Walt Disney World that have opened over the past few years. This was done in part because that was the feature topic over at On the Road with Mickey this week for Episode #105.
So, we have talked about the following attractions, in order of their opening from newest to oldest:
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (10/1/2021)
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway (3/4/2020)
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (12/5/2019)
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (8/29/2019)
- Slinky Dog Dash (6/30/2018)
- Avatar Flight of Passage (5/27/2017)
- Na’vi River Journey (5/27/2017)
But what was the ranking of my list? Well, I imagine that it will surprise most of you, who will undoubtedly think I’m off my rocker, but my favorite attraction of the new attractions is not Rise of the Resistance! So, without further ado, here is my ranking of the seven new attractions at Walt Disney World!
7) Slinky Dog Dash

4) Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run 3) Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure 2) Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance 
1) Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
So there you have it! Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is my choice for my favorite of the new attractions! I know many of you think that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is the best, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all, but to me, the first attraction featuring Mickey & Minnie Mouse, featuring a prominent role by the ever graceful Daisy Duck, and one that draws me into the attraction as if I have been transported into a movie — well, that is what gets my vote for favorite.
