About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. My favorite Disney secret is to ride the attractions at Magic Kingdom while Wishes is going on (if you’ve seen it several times already, of course). The crowds are all on Main Street & surrounding area to view fireworks, so hardly anyone’s at Pirates, Haunted Mansion, etc.!

    Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

My favorite Disneyland secrets are that you can get mozzarella sticks at the Stage Door Cafe even though its not on the menu and you can get a Jungle Cruise map (all you have to do is just ask).

  5. Kay Drenth

My fav DCA secret is the Mickey image that is made with water on the ground near the rope drop area. That was so fun and something you won’t see unless you are there at the rope drop or the very end of the night when a Minnie is made in the same spot.

My favorite “secret” hidden Mickey is the ones that are caused by sunlight through the railings!! I’ve yet to see it, but have read about it. Thanks!!
