About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. What a great idea Mike, and of course I am not surprised. Some nuggets of wisdom from this mornings message to keep in mind when watching The Bible this evening: 1. What Isaac’s are keeping us (me) from a deeper relationship with God? 2. Am I willing to lay them on the altar as Abraham was so willing and trusting to do with Isaac? Remember he told the servants “the boy and I are going to worship and will return” so he had faith that God would do something, perhaps resurrect the child after he sacrificed him. Am I willing to do that with the “stuff” that I somehow cannot put away?
There are so many blessings I can’t begin, but at the top of the list is my family.
Love to you, Cindy, and Sophie!

Thanks for commenting, Robin, and for the reminder about Isaac and Abraham! We are planning on watching The Bible series tonight, it looks like it will be really good!

      Love you too!

  2. Caseylk – Casey Kolb lives with her husband and 5 daughters in North Texas. A self-proclaimed “Disneyholic”, most everyone who knows her believes she has Disney on the brain 24/7. She’s been to Walt Disney World during just about every stage of life, including in her childhood, honeymoon, and multiple trips as her family size grew to 5 girls! Whew! Casey has in-depth experience in vacationing at Disney Destinations with special needs, as her princesses run the gamut of Autism Spectrum Disorder, albinism and food allergies. Disney Cruise Line is also an obsession for her family and it has even become the theme for her and her husband's room. Casey has a dream to work at Walt Disney World during retirement! She simply can't get enough of all aspects of Disney.

Thanks for reminding us that there’s so much to share. Not just our mutual love of Disney that brings us to this page but the thoughts and prayers for one another. Sometimes it’s just knowing that others are thinking of us and remembering us in their prayers goes a long way. God bless and best wishes to all we are praying for.

I’ve got a Prayer and a Praise to add to the list. I have some dear friends from Church that will be traveling to Poland to adopt a beautiful little girl! They have three boys, and unfortunately, they need to leave them home with their grandparents while they travel overseas for several weeks. Please pray for their safe journey, and for them to return with their beautiful daughter!
