Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail Red. Enjoy the ride as we share with you our favorite Disney dining experiences!
In today’s loop, we are going to share with you our favorite Disney dining experiences! This is a topic that is near and dear to my heart (or stomach, as the case may be), so hop aboard and enjoy the ride!
For me, there isn’t any one experience that I can claim is my beat-all, end-all experience. We have had so many awesome dining experiences at Walt Disney World that I think it is nearly impossible to come up with just one experience to talk about. As a result, I’m going to go off track just a little to talk about some of the memorable experiences we have had that make Disney truly a memorable place to eat at.
One of my really nice memories was at the Main Street Bakery. We stopped in there one morning to get some breakfast, and one of the Cast Members stopped by our table. She started up a conversation with Sophie, and asked her who her favorite Princess was. Of course, Sophie said “Cinderella!” At that point, the Cast Member presented to Sophie a huge chocolate chip cookie, which she explained had been sent to Sophie from Cinderella, who knew that Sophie was at the Main Street Bakery at that very moment. It was so cool! This was during the Year of a Million Dreams.
Another great dining memory that I have was when we had breakfast at ‘Ohana. There we were, enjoying our wonderful breakfast, when all of a sudden Stitch appeared over Sophie! The food at ‘Ohana is awesome, the service was killer, the character interactions are incredible, and the look on Sophie’s face — well, that was priceless! Sophie loved seeing Lilo and Stitch at ‘Ohana, it was the first time we had ever seen them in the parks!
Another incredible dining experience happens every time we eat at The Crystal Palace. Sophie loves interacting with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore, and she really loves taking part in the parade around the restaurant! I love how Tigger is always taking advantage of a photo taking session to stick his snout as far into the picture as he can!
Still other favorite Dining locations where we have had great experiences include Askerhus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway, the Garden Grill Restaurant over at the Land (both places in Epcot), and the fun getaway over at the Cape May Cafe over at the Beach Club resort! I guess what I am trying to say is this: When it comes to memorable Dining experiences, we have really enjoyed all of them, and look forward to some more memorable experiences in the days ahead!
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is A World View.
Great post! We love all our experiences in Disney dining also. Character meals rock, don't they?!
I love the look on Sophie's face at 'Ohana. I have to agree with you I'd be hard pressed to pick just one favorite dining experience! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites with us.
I love when CMs make the moment extra special! (And I especially love huge chocolate chip cookies!)

Cape May Cafe has a great dinner buffet and wonderful drinks on it's menu. It's one of my new favorites. I still haven't tried Ohana for breakfast but I'm sure I will one day since my husband is a Stitch fan.
You are just like me. How do you pick one place as a favorite. Almost impossible. But the Main Street Bakery, as you indicated, is among our first stops every visit.
Thanks everyone for the comments! I love how the cast members make the magic that much more so — and I can't count the number of times that has happened for us! Thanks again!
We love 'Ohana, but have yet to try it for breakfast. Great picture of Sophie!
I wouldn't be able to narrow my choices down to just one either!
The story about Cinderella is awesome! How cute is that!? And meeting Stitch in 'Ohana! So cool!
Thanks, Manda! Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana was a really great breakfast — I don't like eggs and I even ate some of them because everything was so good! :)
