When you think of famous Disney Couples, most people think of Mickey & Minnie, or Donald and Daisy, or even Cinderella and Prince Charming. But how often do you think of Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow when you think of Famous Disney Couples?

Well, I’ve got one of those odd brains that thinks about the unusual at the weirdest times, so when I heard that the theme for our giveaway was going to be Famous Disney Couple, I almost immediately though of Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. I’m not really sure why that is — I mean, it’s not every day that you think of them. Maybe it’s because one of my favorite photos was of them with my daughter Sophie in the Magic Kingdom (in Town Square) from 2007, and honestly, you don’t see them around much — at least, I don’t. Or maybe I thought of them because I had just seen the movie Frozen prior to seeing the topic for our giveaway, and they were on my mind. I honestly don’t know, but what I do know is this: Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow, especially in the picture above, are really stylish characters, and I could see Clarabelle really sporting that Minnie Mouse luggage from American Tourister quite nicely! Same goes for Horace and the Mickey luggage! Also, take a look at that romantic Horace as he shares a special moment with Clarabelle!

It’s funny, but I barely remember these two. I was never much of a cartoon fan growing up. I’m glad you chose them as your Famous Disney Couple, Mike! I’ve always loved that picture of Sophie with them!
You DON’T see them around at all! This photo is one of a kind! I have a friend that just loves Clarabelle and pretty much had to go to Disneyland in Cali to meet her! Great post and thanks for picking such a classic Disney couple!
I have NEVER seen this duo in the parks Mike- what terrific pictures you have! Since I am one of the only people in the country who has never seen the movie “Frozen”, I now know to look for their short!!
I have yet to meet Horace at the parks. I’ve seen him in parades, but that’s it… maybe one day! I love the pic of the two of them with Sophie!! too cute!
They are so cute together, that is great that you have pictures of them. I love it when Clarabella is on The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, she’s SO fashionable.
Great po! I love your choice of couple, and the picture of them with Sophie is fabulous!!
I loved that short!! Maybe more than I liked Frozen (which I really liked!). What’s funny about Horace and Clarabelle is that in Mickey Mouse clubhouse, it’s Clarabelle and Goofy.. poor Horace!
Way to think outside the box – thanks for sharing such great moments!
They’re so cute! I have only seen Clarabelle walking away to take a break, but I hope to meet her (& hopefully him too) very soon!
I have yet to see them in the parks. I keep looking though. I think next time you should be the one proposing.
My Dad’s name is Horace so the character has always been one of my favorites. :)
