About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. My friend Chad and his family need prayers to make sure the house they are looking at is the right house for them. Please pray for guidance for him and his family, that God would keep the door open for them if this is where He wants them to be, or that He would show them a better alternative if that is what He desires of them. Thanks!

Continued prayers for Tommy. He doesn’t want to leave the hospital, he doesn’t want his wife to do anything for him, he doesn’t want her to suffer because of him. It’s not good, and they need all the prayers they can get right now. Prayers for strength, God’s Peace, and more to get them through this. Also please pray for Tommy’s comfort — he doesn’t like the way the pain medications make him feel, so he is declining the dosage.

Prayers for God’s Peace and Strength on our family this morning. Tommy Gibbs passed away earlier this morning, Thursday, April 4th, 2013. Please be with the family, especially his wife and other family as they deal with the grief and heartache of knowing that their husband/father/uncle/grandfather/cousin is know longer with us. We all know that he is in a better place now, so the focus now shifts to the family left behind. Lift them up, please, as they struggle to move on, day by day, week by week, minute by minute, and remember that life does go on, even when we don’t think it ever could.

Thanks, everyone. These requests mean so much more to me then you could ever know.

My friend Amanda needs some prayers for her little girl. Here is what she posted on Facebook:

We recently found out that Kennedy has a Congenital Diaphgragmatic Hernia that went undiagnosed during my pregnancy. We met with an amazing surgeon today at our local children’s hospital. She’ll be having surgery soon. From what we’ve been told, she is our little miracle in that she is happy, thriving and otherwise healthy, which is not usually the case with this diagnoses.

Please keep my brave little girl in your thoughts.

We would also like continued prayers for the little 4 year old boy and his family that were getting ready to start their cruise on Saturday, 3/30. The little boy nearly drowned, and I haven’t heard any update, so please keep them all in your prayers until we find out more information. Thanks.
