Today is my Mom’s birthday! Please join me in wishing her a very happy birthday! This picture was taken on August 1st, 2006, when we took Sophie and Meemaw (as she is known to Sophie) to Walt Disney World for the day! It was a lot of fun, and was the first time Mom had been there since we went in 1979! It also marks the last time my Mom has been there, which is something that needs to be changed at some point! Who knows? Maybe next year…?
Sophie had a great time enjoying the Magic Kingdom with her Meemaw, so I thought we would let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy!
Mom also rode Goofy’s Barnstormer — and DID NOT like it! We ate at Cosmic Ray’s I believe it was. We enjoyed a lot of good wholesome rides that Mom liked, and we saw Cinderella and her Prince get married at the Castle! All in all, even though it was only a day, we had a great time.

Happy Birthday, Meemaw!! I hope you get to make more Disney memories real soon!! :) This reminds me of my husband’s parents…we took them to WDW in November 2012. They had not been since my husband was 2 years old…he’s 41 now (shhh…don’t tell him I told you!) It was our daughter’s 2nd birthday, and it was even more special having G.G. & G-Daddy celebrating with us! They loved it so much that they’re going back with us this month…we’ve created a couple of Disney Addicts! :)
