Well, my friends, we have reached perhaps my favorite trip ever to Walt Disney World. This isn’t taking a single thing away from all the other trips, but this one was special because it was the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World — and all the Disney Magic was in full force for this special trip! October 1st, 2011 was a Saturday — so that was perfect. Friday, September 30, 2011, was a teacher workday — so Sophie didn’t miss any school! Check number two. My niece was able to come down to go with us and we were able to surprise Sophie. Check numbers 3 and 4! September 30 also marked the first day of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so we could see that for the first time! Check number 5. Then, Saturday was perhaps the most beautiful Disney Day I have ever experienced in terms of weather. Check number 6. The list goes on and on, but what it all adds up to is a memorable long weekend, and an absolutely incredible memory filled weekend that I will NEVER forget.
