About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. I would say that my favorite moment was meeting Minnie Mouse with Stephanie, even though Jim took Brett and Leslie and they met like 5 or 6 other characters. We waited in line forever, it seems, but it was worth it for the picture I got of Stephanie and Minnie.

Like Mom, my worst memory was the water ride in which I was scared to death that Brett would fall out of the car. It is on my Facebook page, much to his chagrin, and I would daresay that none of us really enjoyed that part of the ride, although now we probably would!

I love you Mom! I also can hear the eye rolling with my parents anytime I mention Disney. But I do agree with your Mom on Barnstormer. I was really surprised at how like a big roller coaster it was.

One of my favorite memories was of Barnstormer — Sophie loved it so much, she, Cindy and I rode it like 8 times in a row because there was no line. We just got off, and got right back on. I loved that roller coaster!
