Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s #DisneyTrivia segment! Along with my brilliant co-hosts Jenn from Disney Babies Blog, Heidi from Heidi’s Head, and Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, I’m Mike and we’re here to share with you some great Disney Trivia featuring that draft dodger Mickey Mouse! I found this particular tidbit quite amusing, I hope you enjoy it also!
Did You Know…
That, on December 30, 1980, the United States Selective Service System, in the midst of reminding 18-year-olds to register for the draft, sent a warning to Mickey Mouse at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The Selective Service says that Mickey is in violation of registration compliance.
When I read that bit of trivia, I thought it was so funny! I guess it goes to show that the Government isn’t always correct…but that’s a topic for another day! I found this trivia on the This Day in Disney History website, thanks goes to them for having such a great collection of Disney trivia!
