Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Disney Music Monday post. This series is dedicated to giving you a smile to brighten your Monday morning. I’m joined by my co-host Tim from Dad for Disney. Thanks Tim for joining us!
This week we’re taking a look at a song sung by Mike and Sulley from Monster’s Inc. Did you know that the song “If I Didn’t Have You” from Monster’s Inc. won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2003? I had no idea! Today we’ve got two versions of the song for you. The first is the song with selected video clips put in, since this song was part of the end credits of the movie, and the second version is the song with takes featuring John Goodman and Billy Crystal actually recording the song in the studio. They are both a lot of fun, so take a few moments to watch them, and enjoy! I hope that this #DisneyMusicMonday selection brings a smile to your face! As John Goodman said, “It’s a great friendship song.”
Did that bring a smile to your face like it did for me? Let me know in the comments below, and please check out the rest of the entries. Thanks for stopping by!
