Welcome back to another edition of Disney In Pictures! After a week off due to work issues, we’re back and better then ever! This series is written for you, the reader, as a great way to share your favorite pictures, and to tell us why the pictures you send are your favorites! It’s my way of saying thank you to all of you that come by our site and using us to help get your Disney Fix! This week, we’ve decided to forgo with the theme, so we’re calling it the Disney Free-For-All!
First up is My Dreams of Disney reader Jennifer, who wanted to share a special picture from Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Here is what Jennifer had to say:
This picture is special to me because it was our first trip to Disney as a family and
we were celebrating our son’s 6th birthday there. We also celebrated Halloween which
was a blast!!!Jennifer
Next up is Amanda from Mouze Kateerz! Amanda is the sister of Frances, the head of Mouze Kateerz, and is also a travel agent for Distinctive Journeys. Here is what she had to share with us:
Hey Mike!! I’ve got two!
1st picture DSCF6602 is Frances and I meeting Mike and Sully. It was awesome because we just happened to wonder up on them at Hollywood Studios and didn’t have to wait in line for them. Which we both thought was AMAZING!!!
2nd picture DSCF6668 I split from my sister and wondered around the UK and through a gift shop and nearly bumped into Tigger and Pooh! I was amazed there was no line for them and I was able to dance with Tigger before they snapped the “official picture” I walked no I skipped out and found my sister and was bouncing up and down waving my camera telling her to look who I got to meet. No it wasn’t my first time meeting Tigger or Pooh but it was definitely my most memorable one!

Shannan from Addicted to Mickey is up next on our list! For this week’s submission, it was short and sweet for Shannan. Here is why Shannan submitted the picture she did:
Because we love Pinocchio!
My incredibly generous friend Brenda is up next on our list! Brenda is one of the incredible travel agents for Pixie Vacations, and as dear a friend as I have. Brenda has two special photos to share, here is what she had to say:
My name is Brenda Kenworthy (some people know me as Pixie Brenda) and my blog is www.IdeallyDisney.com. Mike is a precious friend that I call my brother-from-another-mother and I love him dearly.Today, I wanted to share this picture of me and my mom. My sweet momma is the one who started my magical love affair with Walt Disney World when I was a teen. My first trip was when I was 15 and my sister, Linda, was 17. My mom and my stepdad introduced us to this magical place. A couple of years later, they took me again with one of my friends. They planted a seed. After my stepdad passed on in August 2003, my mom soon began planning a trip for my family and my sister’s family to go with her to Walt Disney World as a tribute trip to Louis’ memory. After all, Louis was the whole reason she went to Walt Disney World in the first place, taking her two teenage daughters to tag along. That trip in 2004 was a lovely, loving time for all of us. That particular visit to WDW stands out to me for several reasons: it was the first trip I had taken with my mom since I was a teen; it was the first trip I had taken with my sister since we were teens; and my mom and Louis had made an unforgettable trip for us again. What put it on an even grander scale was that our children, our spouses, our mom, my sister and me were all together in the most magical place on earth. It was truly wonderful! On the last day of our visit, my mother told me she had bought me something special as a remembrance of the trip. This is a picture of my gift. The Princess Wedding Dance snowglobe is the most beautiful snowglobe in my collection. It resembles a beautiful wedding cake and displays all the Disney princesses and princes in their wedding attire. When you wind it up, it plays beautiful music as each couple dances to their wedding song. I would have to say that even now, whenever I look at it, it is and always will be one of my most treasured Disney mementos; not only because of the sheer beauty of it but because of the wonderful memories I hold of that special visit. I am so thankful that I am blessed to have this treasure to enjoy for all my years to come and to serve as a reminder of just what a wonderful and loving mother I have been blessed to have for all these years. My mom has been on several trips to Disney with my family. Whenever someone asks one of my children about their most special Disney memories, they always include a trip my mom was on with us. I love you mom!

Next up is Sandye, who has a very special photo to share. Here is what she has to say:
This picture was taken at EPCOT on our wedding day, 10/05/07. We went to EPCOT with our family and friends to eat and drink around the World at the Food & Wine Festival.
My buddy Denny is up next, sharing one of his favorite pictures. As he writes, it is a little early for Christmas photos, but he couldn’t resist. Here is what he had to say:
I know it’s a little early for Christmas photos, but this moment at Epcot with Duffy is my all time favorite. How often do you get to walk arm in paw with Duffy bear? I used this on my Christmas ornament for this year, too! Grins!
My friend Deb from Focused on the Magic is up next. Deb is sharing an incredibly cool picture that you may have seen before on her site. Here is what she had to say:
Thanks for hosting another week of Disney in Pictures. This week I’m sharing a picture of a cool cat relaxing in Animal Kingdom. It was taken on a very hot humid day in August. That pool sure did look refreshing!

Our last entry this day comes from my friend Donna from DISTherapy! If you haven’t seen it, check out her newly started series, 30 Days to 30 Years, a countdown to the 30th Anniversary of Epcot! You might see a writer there that you recognize! Here is what she had to share with us:
It’s Labor Day Weekend, and despite the calendar, I can’t help but think it is time to say goodbye to summer. It stings more than usual, because for my extended family it was a Disney summer. As I sat reviewing my Disneyland photos, I couldn’t help but to be drawn to a hot and sunny Southern California afternoon spent at the Disneyland Hotel’s new Monorail pool. It felt great not to act our ages!! That day, it was the Happiest Place on Earth.
My Dreams of Disney is just that…My Dreams of my absolute favorite place in the World! Stop by and share your Dreams too! Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, and check out our special pages on the Lands of the Magic Kingdom, the countries of Epcot’s World Showcase, and our Disney Planning Resource pages!
Thanks again for hosting Mike- I just love looking at so many happy families!!!
And thanks for sharing, Donna! This is a favorite post of mine because it all comes from all of you!
