Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Disney In Pictures, the weekly series that gives you the opportunity to share your photos with all of us! This week the theme is “Favorite Disney Restaurant!” and you all have been scouring your photos for pictures to share with us! Let’s get started!
Our first contribution comes to us from my friend Mel from the blog Mickey by Mel (and also from Mouze Kateerz!) Mel writes to us about her absolute favorite restaurant: Citricos! Here is what she had to say:
Hey Mike –
It’s Mel from Mouzekateerz and Mickey by Mel! When I saw you post this week’s theme I had to get in on it. But then I was stuck, I have three favorite Disney restaurants, but in the interest of fairness I picked just one. Where? Citricos (at the Grand Floridian). The restaurant, the food, the staff, the ambiance – never ceases to amaze me! It is a favorite of my whole family – in fact it is where Eliza (turning 8 today on Sunday) asked to go for her birthday dinner! It is simply fantastic! We are never rushed, they are fantastic with the kids, the staff is engaging and the food – well, let’s stick with AWESOME! I am attaching a picture that might be a little unfair since this isn’t something that you can order, but how can you not look at that without your breath being taken away! (And it was as delicious as it was beautiful!)
Take care and have a magical day!
Mel

Thanks for sharing that, Mel! Tell Eliza Happy Birthday!
Next up is Lottie from the blog Crunchy Disney Ma! You may remember that Lottie submitted a photo during our Haunted Mansion Disney In Pictures with the eyes open on the tombstone! Anyway, Lottie has two photos to share with us, here is what she had to say:
What’s not to love about the Hollywood Brown Derby? The upscale surroundings, complete with white linen table cloths, caricatures of stars on the walls, exquisite service and the fabulous Grapefruit Cake makes anyone visiting there think that the Rat Pack could be sitting at the next table. Because this is Disney, it is a wonderful place for families to eat; no need for a jacket and tie here. Make your reservations and dive deeper into the movie star ambiance already surrounding you at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
At Epcot, over in Japan Teppan Edo is a wonderfully noisy hibachi style restaurant. The bright red chairs against the monochromatic black and white décor are simple elegance at its best. The assorted tempura appetizer is a family favorite. After the amazing display of knife and cooking skills by the chefs, we ate like emperors. I’m craving the hot, delicious Udon noodles right now! This restaurant has special meaning for our family because it is where my father celebrated his fiftieth birthday. He still talks about how much fun he had!

Next up is my friend Shannan from Addicted to Mickey and Mouze Kateerz! Here is what she had to say:
We love Chef Mickey’s for breakfast. The meal is a great assorted buffet with something on it for everyone. Plus, you can meet the Fab 5 without having to stand in any lines!
Our next contribution comes to us from Teri, one of the writers from Mouze Kateerz! Teri has two restaurants she wanted to focus on, here is what she had to say:
Hi Mike!!!
Love this topic – being Italian you know I love to eat!!!!!
I have two favorite places that I was lucky enough to share with my best pal Kathy during our trip in September! Tutto Italia (go figure!) in EPCOT.
And my other favorite is The Artist Point at The Wilderness Lodge.
Both very different in cuisine and atmosphere and both always on the top of my list when it comes to Disney Dining!!!!
Bon Appetite!!!
Two restaurants I’ve never eaten at, Teri! Tell me, though, have you tried Via Napoli yet? Oh, that restaurant is to die for!
Our last contribution this week comes to us from my good friend Deb from Focused on the Magic! Deb is one of the best photographers I know, so when she shares photos with me, it’s a treat for me! Here is what she had to say:
Hi Mike,
I can name a few favorite restaurants in Disney World so picking just one is tough for me. Since I’ve already mentioned Le Cellier in another Disney in Pictures post, I thought I’d share another favorite of mine, The Rose & Crown. As far I’m concerned the Rose & Crown offers everything my family enjoys while we’re on vacation. Great food,we have thoroughly enjoyed every dinner we’ve had there. Great atmosphere, inside and out on the patio. Excellent entertainment in The Hat Lady and to top it all off the best seat in the World Showcase for Illuminations! Here’s a little photo montage from the Rose & Crown Pub.

That wraps up this week’s Disney In Pictures! To close, I thought I’d share some of the pictures that we’ve taken over the years from our favorite restaurants! Enjoy!
