Welcome back to another edition of Disney In Pictures! After a two week hiatus because of our trip to Disney World, we are back! In this week’s edition, we are taking a look at shots of our favorite photos of Disney Characters that have been in a movie. The spectrum is wide open for this topic, so sit back and enjoy the photography that readers of My Dreams of Disney have submitted!
In our first photo, one of my good friends, Chip from Chip & Company, shared one of his family photos with us! Here is what Chip had to say:
Zoe (my oldest) was so excited to meet Lilo & Stitch
Disney Movie: Lilo & Stitch
Blog: Chip and Company
Next up is my friend Denny, one of the regulars here at Disney In Pictures, and one of the many creative folks helping out at Mouze Kateerz! Today Denny wanted to share one of my favorite characters, but I’ll let him tell you all about it:
I think I love Woody because of the way he treats his friends. The song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” certainly fits him perfectly. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for a friend in a jam. I’m looking forward to seeing him back on the screen before too long! Plus…he always waves back when I wave at him!
Grins!
Denny
Teri from Mouze Kateerz is next up for us this week! Teri’s favorite character is, of course, Mickey, as she explains here:
Mickey is my favorite Disney character – this is me and my cousin Diane – we were both celebrating “big” birthdays this trip – my 60th and her……… anyway….. Mickey came over to our table to wish us a Happy Birthday!!! Mickey is the star of the show!!!!!!!
Have a magical day!!! Teri
Of course, Mickey hasn’t been in any movies in a while, but he did have a roll in Fantasia and other movies early on in his career!
My friend Hiromi is up next. She is a writer for both Mouze Kateerz and Tips from the Disney Diva, and she wanted to share a photo from home because this character is so rare that she often can’t find him in the parks. Here is what she had to say:
“You’re my very best friend”
“And you’re mine too, Todd!”
“And we’ll always be friends forever, won’t we?”
“Ya, forever!”As a child, my favourite Disney characters were “Todd” and “Copper” from Disney’s “The Fox and the Hound”. It was first released in theatres on July 10, 1981. I have such a sentimental attachment to this film, reminiscing watching it with my mother and sister. My sister and I would recite lines from the film, especially from the famous hide and go seek scene. It is a very moving story about prejudice and the innocence of early friendships which can be marred by social pressures. However, true friendship overcomes these barriers in the end. A deeply moral story, which will truly touch your heart for a lifetime. Here is a photo of my daugther’s “Copper” doll.
Have you seen this guy at Walt Disney World? If so, where can you find him?
Next up is Lisa, who also writes for Mouze Kateerz. She is a fan of the Winnie the Pooh characters, but I’ll let her tell you all about it:
This is my Mom and I with Eeyore and Tigger from the Winnie the Pooh movie. They are special to us as they are our 2 favorite characters. My parents started reading me the books when I was a baby so they have always held a special place in our hearts.
In a twist here at MDOD, my friend Lucinda has a video that we are sharing in this post. She took a bunch of her favorite character interactions and put it to music, so if you want to see it, click on play!
