Wordless Wednesday – Pinterest Pic

Cinderella Castle

Welcome to another week of Wordless Wednesday!  Today the subject is “Pinterest Pic”, and as always, I would like to thank my good friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this awesome series!  The My Dreams of Disney Pinterest Page is an expanding one, and has become quite a good traffic feeder to the blog!  Pinterest is a lot of fun, and it is, in my opinion, a great way to look at Disney pictures and get a quick Disney fix, or click on them to read more about a particular subject!

It was really hard coming up with one picture that I thought would be my Pinterest Pic for this post — but in the end I thought Cinderella Castle in Royal Blue or Purple was the pic to go with.  If you click on the picture above, it will take you to my Pinterest Pin for this picture, and from there you can go see the rest of the pictures I have displayed!

Thanks for stopping by this week!  To see the rest of the entries for this week’s post, please click on the button below to head on over to Focused on the Magic!  Thanks, and make it a Disney Day (or night!)

Disney Movies Online closing it’s doors

Disney, Disney Movies Online

I just received this email about Disney Movies Online.  I have never done much with DMO, but some of you may have, so I thought I would take a moment to alert you in case you were unaware.

Dear Guest,

Disney Movies Online is closing on December 31st. As part of this change, purchases, upgrades, and Magic Code entries can no longer be made on the Disney Movies Online website. You can continue to stream your existing movies until December 31st.

You can still enter Magic Codes on DisneyMovieRewards.com, and Disney Movies Rewards services will not be interrupted. You can also continue to use your Disney member name and password to access and enjoy other Disney websites. In addition, if you purchased a Disney Combo pack with Digital Copy, your Digital Copy can still be transferred and watched from either iTunes or Windows Media Player. Please visit our FAQs for more details.

We truly appreciate your support of our service—we have enjoyed serving you!

Best regards,
The Disney Movies Online Team

Once Upon A Time: What twist will Cora bring to Storybrook?

Did you all see Once Upon a Time last week?  Oh boy, was that crazy!  If you missed it, go to ABC’s website to watch last week’s episode.  In it, we learn more about Regina and her relationship to her mom, Cora.  We already knew that Mulan believed the troubles in the kingdom are the fault of Snow and Emma, but we find out also found out what happened to Cora all those years ago!

It turns out that Cora has been in a prison camp of sorts, and that this location is where Snow and Emma were taken also.  As the plot thickens, at the end of last week’s episode we find Cora asking if they need any help.

Will Snow White and Emma be able to escape?  Will they require the help of Cora?  Will Snow White remember Cora from her youth?  Will Prince Charming be able to find them?

So many questions, and a hundred more after those!  Will you be watching tonight?  Let me know, and let me know your thoughts on all of these plot twists!

“Pixie Dust Alert!” for the Walt Disney World Moms Panel Hopefuls!

For days, those of us that have been waiting, watching, and hoping for an email to tell us that we made it to the next round of the 2013 Walt Disney World Moms Panel search have been doing our best to stay distracted and be a functioning part of society.

Today, there was even some confusion, as some people went to the recruiting page, and found out that it appeared that they had made it to round 2!  I was one of those, in fact!  However, at that point, we still didn’t have any official word, so the reliability of that information seemed questionable at best.

But then Laura Spencer, the head of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel, sent out the tweet “Pixie Dust Alert!” — and the chatter just went crazy!

Everyone started checking email, including me, and guess what?  I made it to round two!  The time is now here to answer several questions and record a video, and I have until Monday night to get it done!

For all of you that didn’t make it to the next round, my heart goes out to you.  I know that there are a ton of people that are well qualified to fill the panel’s chairs.  Have faith, though, if you try again next year, you might be able to make it then!
