February Calendar Shot 2017

Wordless Wednesday – February Calendar Shot 2017

February Calendar Shot 2017

January 2001, Cindy took this picture of me with Minnie Mouse at Liberty Tree Tavern!

Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Wordless Wednesday post! I’m joining my pal Deb from Focused on the Magic and for this week, we’re sharing our February Calendar Shot 2017 photos! Since this coming Monday is my birthday (I’ll be 49!) I figured I would put myself in the calendar. Although the picture above was taken in January, it was MLK Weekend, so it was close to being in February.

Another photo I have is from that same trip — for your recollection, this was the trip where Cindy and I ate our way through Disney because she was pregnant with Sophie and we couldn’t ride the big roller coasters like she likes to do.  This one is of me and Donald Duck, and looks something like this:

Me and Donald Duck

One last picture to share, not of me, but of Sophie, and interestingly enough, she’s with Donald Duck as well!  Look at the difference in Donald in just a few years!

Which of these pictures would you have on your February Calendar Shot 2017? Let me know in the comments, and thanks!  (I think I already know the answer anyway.)

Well, that’s enough of pictures and talk from me, let’s go see what Deb has on her site!  If you wish to join in the fun, just click the image below to head to Focused on the Magic, grab the code from Deb’s site, and add it to your Wordless Wednesday post!  Thanks Deb for hosting, and thanks to you, readers, for stopping by!

Disney Parades

The Return of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop- Disney Parades!

Disney Parades

The Main Street Electrical Parade is the subject of this week’s Wordless Wednesday post!

Welcome to the return of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  Today we are focusing on Disney Parades for our theme! My friend Deb from Focused on the Magic has always hosted this, and I used to be quite the regular on contributing.  Things shifted, though, and I was not able to contribute nearly as often as I wanted to — that is, until now!  Long time readers will know that my Wordless Wednesday posts are not wordless at all usually.  Today’s theme is Disney Parades, and I can’t think of a better parade to feature than the Main Street Electrical Parade!  Originally from Disneyland, brought to Walt Disney World for several years, and now, back at Disneyland where my friend Sheila says “it belongs!”  I’ve great memories of this parade from it’s days in Florida, here’s some of my favorite pictures from that incredible parade!  Enjoy!

Wordless Wednesday – My DisneySide

DisneySide

For us, our Disney Side all starts with Mickey & Minnie Mouse!

Hello everyone, and welcome to our Wordless Wednesday post for this week!  Today we are taking a look at our DisneySide, that side of our personalities that just screams Disney!  I actually wrote about this in a post I wrote for the Magical Blogorail back in January, and in that post, I shared these words that I think truly sum up my #DisneySide the best:

I think you can see that my DisneySide has blossomed into what some would call an obsession!  As for me, though, I think it is just a true love for all that Walt Disney brought to this world that we live in, and the legacy that he left in 1966.  In a nutshell, I guess my DisneySide is my attempt to keep the ideals that Walt Disney lived his life by in my life, and to instill that love of life and the simple things into the life of my family so that they can continue to pass it along.  Thank you for stopping by, and remember to make every day a Disney Day!

Rather than rehash that post, though, I’m going to expand on that closing paragraph, and share in photos what my DisneySide is truly all about.  I hope you enjoy these photos and can feel the Disney Magic that went into these shots as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.  Tell me, what does your DisneySide entail?

Our daughter Sophie is the true embodiment of our Disney Side. Here she is dancing with Donald Duck!

Lastly, Sophie’s DisneySide was in full force when she spoke with Princess Jasmine. Here she is telling her a secret about a certain costume she wanted to buy!

Wordless Wednesday – March Calendar Shot!

With March comes warmer temperatures, flowers and gardens.

With March comes warmer temperatures, flowers, and gardens.

Hello everyone, and welcome to our Wordless Wednesday blog post.  Special thanks, as always, goes out to my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this weekly series.  Today we are taking a look at our March Calendar photos, and I could choose just one, so I’ve got several for you to enjoy!

When I think of March, I think of flowers blooming, gardens getting vibrant colors, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and even some music in the rain!  I hope you enjoy each of these photos, they weren’t taken during the month of March because I’ve never been to Disney in March, but I think they would fit for the month.  Enjoy!

The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is a great display of all the creative work that the Imagineers can do!
