About Mike Ellis

Mike has been a Disney fan since his first trip to the Magic Kingdom in 1979 when he was 11 years old. Since that first trip, he has seen parks open, lands close, and attractions come and go, but one thing remains the same, his love for Disney is as strong as ever.

His Disney adventures caused him to start My Dreams of Disney because he wanted to document for his family and friends all of the special Disney Memories he has enjoyed with his family, and since that first post in 2010, Mike's hobby has become his passion!

Now a Travel Consultant with Pixie Vacations for over nine years, Mike has helped many of his readers plan and have incredible Disney vacations of their own. Check us out on Facebook and Twitter. Oh my goodness, now I want a cinnamon roll.

Are they as good as the ones that used to be in the Main Street Bakery? The ones at Gaston’s Tavern just don’t make the cut.

I know there is a bus that goes between the two resorts and a boat. Not sure how long a walk would take. I didn’t find the mornings to be too busy and never had to make a reservation, but to avoid disappointment it might not be a bad idea.

      Enjoy and thanks for commenting!

  2. dadfordisney – Upstate NY – Hello and welcome to the Dad For Disney Blog. I'm Tim Brooks and I live in upstate NY with my wife of 19 years and our fourteen-year old daughter. I spent the early part of my career out of college working in sports information at the University of Delaware and then Allentown College. After leaving Allentown College, I did some freelance work and then taught sports management at Lehigh-Carbon Community College and then The College of St. Rose when we moved to upstate NY for my wife’s career. After my wife gave birth to our daughter, I decide to stay home with her and put my career on hold. Now, that she is ten years old, I volunteer at her school while keeping the house in order and writing my WDW planning guide tentatively named "Walt Disney World for Tweens and Teens". Dad For Disney and the Dad For Disney Blog is in no way part of, endorsed or authorized by, or affiliated with the Walt Disney Company or its affiliates.

For those that say that Disney food isn’t a good value, I had breakfast at Bob Evans today. Two eggs, sausage, hash browns, and toast cost $7.99. For 80 cents more, I could get bacon and French Toast in addition to my eggs, sausage and hash browns. That’s a good value. Sounds like a great spot for breakfast.

Shhhh Lee!!!! This is definitely one of the best secrets on property. We love heading to Trails End any time of day. You typically can get in and the food is wonderful!
