Avatar Flight of Passage
On our list of new attractions at Walt Disney World for today are the two attractions located in the world of Pandora over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. We will be posting a separate post for Na’vi River Journey at 11AM, but for now, we’re going to be taking a look at what, for many Guests, is the Mac Daddy of attractions at Walt Disney World: Avatar Flight of Passage.
The attractions in Pandora opened together on May 27, 2017, to incredible fanfare and horrific wait times! At many times in the early going, it was not uncommon for wait times to be 240 minutes or longer! This year we are approaching the 5th anniversary of the attraction opening, and fortunately, the wait times aren’t nearly that long.
Flight of Passage is taken right out of the movie Avatar; you are fitted to ride your own Banshee through the world of Pandora, and let me tell you, the ride absolutely does not disappoint.
