Attraction Guide: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
As I mentioned in my previous post, we are doing a new attraction mini-series that is going to take a look at all of new attractions we have seen appear at Walt Disney World over the past few years. Today, we are looking at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
We are starting with Remy’s because it is the newest attraction to open at Walt Disney World, opening on October 1, 2021 as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. When Remy’s opened, it was greeted with a lot of fanfare, and understandably so; the Disney/Pixar movie Ratatouille is an absolute gem of a movie, and the space in the France Pavilion at Epcot was beautifully re-themed to make perfect use of that space.
When Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure first opened, it was only accessible via a Virtual Queue that you had to get starting in the morning at 7AM. If you were not successful at 7AM, you could also try at 1PM from within the park, but you had to be in Epcot to try. You could not get a virtual queue assignment for both the morning and afternoon.
However, with the advent of the Disney Genie+ service, you have two options available to you. You can wait in a standby line. Currently at 7:19PM on January 10, the standby line time is 70 minutes. Or, if there is availability, you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) pass for you and your party. The price for the ILL passes varies.
Here are a few things of note:
- Guests can be any height to ride this attraction
- This attraction is suitable for all ages
- Handicapped Guests may remain in their wheelchair or ECV.
- There is Audio Description available, as well as Handheld Captioning and Assistive Listening.
- On this 4D ride experience, you will join Chef Remy on a daring culinary caper that will captivate all of your senses as you scurry through Gusteau’s Restaurant in Paris. Enjoy!
I have ridden Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure only once. That was on October 3, 2021, and I’ve got to tell you, I can’t wait until I get to ride it again! Have you ever ridden it? If so, let me know in the comments, and if not, let me know if you are interested in it.
Thanks for stopping by!
