Hello everyone, and welcome to our #DisneyWorldCountdown! Today is day 99, and for this day, we are taking a ride on the Chakranadi River! When you are at the Animal Kingdom, there is absolutely nothing as refreshing on a hot summer day as a trip down the rapids. This attraction is a great one because, like many of the Walt Disney World attractions, the theming behind the ride is what really makes the ride. In this case, deforestation along the river has led to an increase in the speed of the river because there is more runoff — and during your journey, you’ll see evidence of the deforestation firsthand. Since the river has sped up, you’re in for a much wilder ride!
At the end of your journey, if all goes according to plan, you’ll be refreshed and soaking wet from your journey. If you aren’t, watch out! There are elephant spray stations located near the finish and a person watching just may get you with the spray from the elephant to finish the job!

What does your family think of Kali River Rapids? Is it a must do attraction at Animal Kingdom to you and your family? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below, and thanks for stopping by!
