Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by today as we explore our next selection in our #DisneyWorldCountdown! For this day, we are looking at #Day73, and today’s choice is none other than the incomparable MuppetVision 3D!
This attraction first opened on May 16, 1991, over in the Streets of America section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios park. I remember seeing it at some point not that long after, and thinking it was so much fun because it was my pals The Muppets! To this day, I still like to watch the corny show, even though it is quite dated now. Part of me wonders what sort of changes, if any, we would have seen to the attraction had Jim Henson not passed away when he did. That tragic loss impacted fans of the Muppets for years, and still does to some degree today.
I think, though, that MuppetVision 3D is great just as it is, with the pre show, the 3D Glasses that are sometimes 3D Safety Glasses, Statler and Waldorf, and of course, Kermit. But what I like perhaps best of all is how the whole area around the attraction just screams Muppets, everything from the giant billboard of Miss Piggy:

and the director Fozzie Bear (not sure how well that will work!):

That’s just a couple of examples. So tell me, please: do you like MuppetVision 3D? If so, what is your favorite part, and if not, tell me why please. In the meantime, thank you for stopping by today, now go out and make it a great Disney Day!
