The Mad Tea Party is our choice for Day 39 in our Countdown to Disneyland series. Like the Mad Tea Party at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, this is a teacup ride where the vehicles spin gently — or not so gently — depending on how fast you spin them yourself!
However, there are some differences between the two attractions. For starters, you may notice that the Disneyland attraction, which is located in Fantasyland, by the way, is not a covered attraction, which means that it could have closures based on weather conditions if necessary. Also, while it isn’t like this now, did you know that when the Mad Tea Party opened — it was an opening day attraction — that for the first two years there were no brakes or anything on the ride, so you could spin it as fast as you wanted to?
I actually did a post about the Mad Tea Party for my blog in my attractions series, feel free to check it out for more information! Thanks for stopping by!
