It’s a small world, after all! It’s a small world, after all! It’s a small world, after all! It’s a small, small world!
With that line, “it’s a small world” proclaims itself to the world with the most catchy — or annoying, depending on your point of view — song in all of Disney! We are down to 36 Days til Disneyland, and today we are looking at “it’s a small world”!
The song may be the same, and the basic ride premise is certainly the same, but there are also some very distinct differences between the ride at Disneyland and the ride at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World!
For starters, the Disneyland version of the ride loads outside — not under a covered loading area. I’m guessing that a lot of these are okay because Southern California doesn’t get a lot of rain? So you don’t get rained on very often? I’m just guessing, maybe you can let me know for certain why this is if you know.
In addition, with the renovation in 2009, you will also find your favorite Disney characters displayed throughout the ride in sections that depict where they are from! For example, you can see Pinocchio in Italy, Cinderella in France, and so on!
“it’s a small world” is a Disney classic attraction for us, and I fully expect that we will be riding it multiple times on our trip! Let me know what you think about it, and for a little send off, here is the video of the ride for you to sing along to — if you dare!
