Located in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, “it’s a small world” is one of my favorite attractions in all of Disney World. While many of you may find the music totally obnoxious, to me, it’s a classic song that always brings a smile to my face! Such a simple song, performed by the legendary Sherman Brothers, coupled with the characters in the ride have combined to create a masterpiece of a ride that has withstood the test of time.
I think that “it’s a small world” may very well be one of the attractions that Walt thought of as making his parks different from all the other theme parks in the world. Wonderful music, a world-wide cast of characters, and a reminder that when you think about it, we are all very similar, despite our nationalities, skin color, language, or gender, it really does make the message sink in: that it really is a small world, after all!
This is one of our can’t miss attractions, and I hope it is yours also!
Please tell me what you think of “it’s a small world.” Can’t miss attraction, must ride once, or must ride multiple times?
