As everyone knows, today is the official birthday of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, due to the release of the Disney cartoon Steamboat Willie on November 18, 1928.  As a result of this, Mickey & Minnie are now 85 years old!

Thank you for joining us today on Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia, as we join in with our friends Jodi from Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Jenn from Disney Babies Blog, and Heidi from Heidi’s Head.

What you might not know about Steamboat Willie, though, is the subject of our trivia.

Did you know…

That Steamboat Willie was not the first Disney cartoon to feature Mickey and Minnie Mouse?  As it turns out, Plane Crazy was, but Steamboat Willie was the first distributed, and also the first of the Mickey Mouse cartoons that featured audio.

Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy taking a look at Steamboat Willie!

Now, please take a moment and check out the rest of the great entries, and please, if you have a blog and want to add your trivia to our list, we would love to have it listed!  Thanks!
