Special thanks to Andre from WDW Shutterbug for sharing his art with us!
Happy Halloween to everyone! While I am not at the Magic Kingdom, my friend Andy from WDW Shutterbug has been spending much time there, and I thought I would share with you one of my favorite pictures of his that you can see above! In addition, here are some photos I think of when I think of Halloween at Walt Disney World! Enjoy everyone, and thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone! Who is ready to win one of our incredible Disney Gift Cards in our $1,000 Disney Gift Card Giveaway? We’ve been planning this for a couple of weeks, and it is thanks to all of these incredible Disney Blogs that we are able to offer up such incredible prizes! I for one never thought I would be part of a giveaway that would award one $500 Disney Gift Card to a winner AND 2 $250 Disney Gift Cards to two other winners! For some people, that’s a deposit on a Walt Disney World vacation — and then some! For others, that might take care of their entire holiday shopping, and in today’s economic climate, that’s saying something. Please check out these incredible Disney Fan Blogs and thank them for supporting this incredible giveaway. If they weren’t willing to contribute to it, this sweepstakes wouldn’t be happening!

Sleeping Beauty Castle beckons you at the end of Main Street, U.S.A.
Much like we did with the Lands of the Magic Kingdom, and the Countries of Epcot World Showcase, we are getting ready to start a new series where we will explore all the different Lands of Disneyland! If you have never been to Disneyland before, this series will help you to see all of the great things that you can experience in Disneyland, and perhaps help you realize that there is so much to experience there that you will want to plan your own trip out west. If you have been to Disneyland, hopefully this series will serve to remind you of all of the great things that you did experience, so that you can relive those memories over and over again.
As you may know, we are also working on our series about the Pavilions of Epcot Future World, so there is no set timetable for this, but despite that, please know that these posts will be exciting moments for me and my family to relive that dream trip we took back in June of 2013. I hope you’ll join us and walk the same paths that we walked as we all remember Walt in the park that he created!
Here are the lands that we’ll be learning more about in the coming days and weeks:
Main Street, U.S.A.
New Orleans Square
Stay tuned, we’ll be starting with Main Street, U.S.A., which you will learn has some distinct similarities to Main Street, U.S.A. in Walt Disney World, but also has significant differences too!
Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s edition of the Wordless Wednesday Post! We’re getting a little jump on tomorrow, but I wanted to take a moment and thank my good friend Deb from Focused on the Magic for hosting this weekly series! This week’s theme, in light of Halloween coming up this week, is Heroes and Villains, and I couldn’t think of a better set of heroes to focus on then Mickey & Minnie Mouse!
I’ve got some other characters to share with you, I hope you enjoy them all! Have a look and tell me what you think in the comments below!
Peter Pan and Wendy are good heroes!
The Genie and Jiminy Cricket are two great heroes!
Boo! Hiss! Captain Hook is not a good hero — although it is funny that he is holding balloons!
It’s not the best picture, but I can’t think of a more evil villain than Chernabog!
Thanks for taking time to check out my photos! I hope you enjoyed them, and I look forward to reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by, and make it a Disney Day (or Night!) Now, please go check out the rest of the entries by clicking on the button below!
Hello everyone, and welcome to this week’s Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia segment! Today we are taking a look at some recent Disney history — this comes to us from way back in 2009!
Did You Know…
That on this day in 2009, comedian, writer, director, and banjo enthusiast Steve Martin performed to a near-capacity audience at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Martin (who worked at Disneyland as a teen) has turned serious intention to both playing and composing with his first full album of music, The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo.
In addition, Martin was quoted as saying during the performance the following quote: “My wife inspired the title for this next song – it’s called ‘When Are You Going to Stop Playing the Damned Banjo?’“
Steve Martin has been a point of reference on our blog before, he had a quote that went out when the great Jim Henson passed away that we used before, and if you haven’t seen it before, here is a YouTube video of Steve Martin and Kermit the Frog playing Dueling Banjos together! Enjoy!
