20 Days til Disneyland – Pin Trading!

One thing that I really enjoy to participate in at Disney parks is pin trading!  Disney Pin Traders is a store located in Downtown Disney — there is one at both Disneyland’s DD and Walt Disney World’s DD.  If you go to the store you can find all sorts of great pins to purchase, or you can find all sorts of trading partners to trade with to be able to get a great collection!

Do you or your family enjoy pin trading?  If so, then you’ll want to check out the Disney Pin Traders store at Downtown Disney so you can get an idea of what you want to be on the lookout for, even if you don’t want to buy at the store.  Let me know in the comments if you do pin trading, and thanks for stopping by!

21 Days til Disneyland – Jungle Cruise!

Well, my friends, we are at Day 21 in our Countdown to Disneyland, and from here on in, you’ll be reading about some of the the things that are absolutely at the top of my list.  Today we are taking a look at the Jungle Cruise, that classic Disney attraction that has, as you well know, “Tours Departing Daily”.

When it comes to corny fun, the Jungle Cruise has it in spades!  I know that there is very likely not much difference between the Magic Kingdom and the Disneyland versions of the ride, but I for one can’t wait to experience it for the first time at Disneyland!

With it’s crazy jokes, including the famous backside of water, the Jungle Cruise is one of those attractions that just captivates me each and every time I ride it.  What about you?  Do you like the Jungle Cruise?  Is it something you love, and must ride, or do you skip it by?  Let me know in the comments, and thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to day 22 in our countdown to Disneyland!  Today we are looking at the Phineas and Ferb Rockin’ Rollin’ Dance Party!  This special parade is located in Disney’s California Adventure park, right in front of The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure location! Join Phineas and Ferb and dance to nine great songs as you get ready for your next great attraction!

Wordless Wednesday – Memorial Day!

Walt Disney World Railroad

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop — hosted as always by my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic! We don’t have a whole lot to share with you today, really just some pictures that remind us of Memorial Day, in honor of both our country and Deb’s theme for this week, but we hope you enjoy our offering nonetheless!

The first picture is of the Walt Disney World Railroad’s Main Street Station.  I don’t know why, but this picture, with the American Flag on top, just screams “Americana” to me!

Voices of Liberty

The second photo I’m sharing with you is of the group Voices of Liberty — that you can hear at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase!  They are a great group — well worth listening to — so stop by and hear them before seeing the show!

Colonial Band marching

Our last picture to share with you is of the colonial band that is marching on their way to (or from) the Liberty Inn restaurant.  They are great to listen to also, so make it a point to eat a leisurely lunch at the Liberty Inn and wait for them to appear.  You’ll be glad you did!

Thank you for stopping by today — now, please, go check out the rest of the entries!  Just click on the button below to see the rest of the entries, and thanks!

23 Days til Disneyland – Ridemakerz!

Ridemakerz is a store located in Downtown Disney where you can purchase and make your own tricked out cars, with hundreds of options, including remote control capability.  It is our choice for Day 23 in our countdown to Disneyland!  I would imagine that the cost you could spend in this store could skyrocket if you weren’t careful, so while we will likely go into the store, don’t be surprised if we don’t buy anything! Have you ever been to the RideMakerz store at Downtown Disney?  If so, what did you think of it?  Let me know in the comments, and thanks for stopping by!
