Wordless Wednesday — Disney Letter “E”

Focused on the Magic
Welcome to this week’s edition of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop!  My great friend Deb from Focused on the Magic is our host for this series, and I take great pleasure in joining in each week.  Things have been crazy this week, so I wasn’t able to join in as early as I would like, but here I am anyway!  The theme this week is the Disney Letter “E”, which works perfectly for me, I hope you enjoy my pictures!  When you are done, click on the button at the top and see all the rest of the entries!  Thanks for stopping by!

Characters In Flight to Reopen!

Exciting news for those of you that, like me, wish that Characters in Flight was open at Downtown Disney!  Word is out that they are working on the attraction, have installed a new balloon, and are currently in testing!  No word on when it will open, but I am excited to know that it will be reopening again in the future!  I was going to ride it when we were down in June, but it was closed that day, and then it was closed because of the accident in Hong Kong, so there was no way of knowing if it would open up again.

I heard about this from my friend Denny, who saw it over at WDWMagic.  You can check out their article there.  While you are waiting for the attraction to open again, take a look at some of the pictures my wife took when she rode the balloon in 2010!  Enjoy!

Disney In Pictures Theme: Happy Birthday Epcot!

Hello everyone!  It’s that time again, when we announce what the theme is for this week’s Disney In Pictures!  I know that many of you may be traveling to Walt Disney World for the 30th Birthday of Epcot, so I thought I would make the theme “Happy Birthday Epcot!”  If you are going to be there, see if you have time to shoot me a picture and send it my way!  If you aren’t going to be there, still join in the fun by sending me a picture of Epcot — use your imagination!  It could be your birthday, or one of the previous birthdays of Epcot, or it could just be a picture of Epcot you like, and not have anything to do with birthdays at all!  It’s up to you!  However, you can’t play if you don’t enter, so here’s what you need to do:

  1. Email me your photo to mickey@mydreamsofdisney.com
  2. Include your name, and why the photo is special to you.
  3. If you have a blog, include that too!  It’s an easy way to get your Disney blog noticed!

As always, thanks for participating!  This weekly series is my way of saying thank you to those of you that follow us day in and day out.  It is truly humbling to this writer that you take time to read our blog, and I thank you for that!
