|I only wish that the street was this empty when I was there!|
Hello, and welcome to my interpretation of the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop that my friend Deb from Focused on the Magic hosts each week! This week’s theme is “Disney Weenie”, and I’ll admit, I had to ask her what she meant by that! So, for those that don’t know, a Disney Weenie is what Walt Disney and the Imagineers called an iconic structure that would catch your eye at a distance and draw you in for a closer look.
In today’s post, I’m sharing a different kind of view — an image of Main Street, U.S.A., with Cinderella Castle at the end of the Street. As you can see, this isn’t a photograph, it’s a screen capture directly out of Google Earth. I’m using this as a way to also illustrate that one of the incredible things you can do with Google Earth is use it to navigate at ground-level throughout the parks. I like it because it gives me a quick Disney fix when I’m not able to be at the parks! I hope you enjoyed it as well.
